Love didn’t leave. It changed how it stays.

Hi Teresa,

February can be complicated.

For some, it’s filled with celebration, cards, and flowers.
For others, it quietly highlights absence, longing, or love that no longer looks the way it once did.

If this month feels tender for you, I want you to know this space was created with you in mind.

Because love doesn’t disappear with loss.
It simply changes how it’s carried.

What This Season Is Asking of Us

February doesn’t ask us to “move on,” to celebrate what feels painful, or to pretend we’re okay when we’re not.

Instead, it gently asks:

What if love is still present, just quieter, deeper, and shaped differently than before?

Love may live now in memory, ritual, compassion, boundaries, or the way you care for yourself. It may not look the way it once did and it is still real.

There is no wrong way to carry love forward.

A Gentle Reflection

Scripture reminds us that love is enduring not because it avoids loss, but because it survives it.

God’s love meets us exactly where we are, not where we think we should be by now. Even in grief, even in ache, even in uncertainty, love remains near, patient, and kind.

If it feels helpful, pause for a moment.
Take a slow breath.
Let yourself rest in that truth.

The Gentle Practice: Noticing Love Without Pressure

This month, you’re invited to notice love without needing to define it, explain it, or celebrate it.

You might gently reflect on:

  • Where do I still sense love in my life, even if it feels different?
  • What kind of love feels safest for me to receive right now?
  • Where am I allowed to say, “This is tender,” without explaining?
  • How can I offer myself the same compassion I give others?
  • What would it look like to honor love without forcing joy?

Nothing here needs to be resolved ~~~ Awareness itself is enough.

More details will be shared in the coming months.

A New Idea I’m Gently Exploring

I’m also in the early stages of exploring a free, in-person community gathering called:

When Strong Isn’t Working Anymore

This would be a gentle, welcoming space for those who are tired of holding it all together. A place to pause, be honest, and feel less alone, without needing to fix or explain anything.

Nothing is finalized yet. I’m simply listening and discerning.

If this idea resonates with you, or if you find yourself thinking “yes… that’s exactly how I feel,” I’d love to hear from you. Your voice matters as I consider what this space could become.

Letting go isn’t weakness, it’s an act of faith. It’s saying, God, I trust You with what I cannot hold anymore.

Even as the trees grow bare, the promise of new life is already at work beneath the surface. May this season remind you that release is not the end of your story, it’s the soil from which renewal will bloom.

If you need someone to walk beside you in that process, I’m here. You don’t have to do this alone.

My mission is to create gentle, grounded spaces for women navigating grief, loss, and life transitions — where they can soften, release what they’ve been carrying, and reconnect with themselves, their faith, and what still feels true.
I walk alongside women not to fix their grief, but to help them feel supported, seen, and steady as they learn to live forward with love.

When you are ready, here are a few more ways I can empower you on your grief journey:

Book a Hope Exploration Session:
